Wayne Health has new logo, new signs and website

Faculty practice plan will start seeing patients this month at its new Detroit headquarters

After emerging from bankruptcy last year, Wayne Health is on way to post $5 million surplus this year

Over the next several weeks, new temporary signs will begin to be posted at clinic locations, including Detroit, Southfield, Troy, Livonia, Monroe, Taylor and Dearborn. Permanent signs will be up by the end of the year.

But Wayne Health’s continuing mission with its 308 physicians and 90 allied health practitioners will be to serve the population of the city of Detroit and greater Southeast Michigan with a wide range of specialty care and also primary care that integrates primary and behavioral health, said CEO Charles Shanley, a WSU graduate and vascular surgeon.

“We have internationally recognized expertise to add a new layer in our commitment to the vulnerable and the Medicaid population in the city of Detroit,” said Shanley.
