DESCRIPTION:Wayne Mobile Health Unit (WMHU) in partnership with MDHHS Monthly Health Fair\, is offering the following services: \nWMHU SERVICES: \n\nBlood Pressure Screening\nGeneral Health Screenings: Complete Metabolic Panel: Kidney\, liver\, glucose\, electrolytes; Lipid Panel: Cholesterol and cardiovascular risk; Hemoglobin A1c: Diabetes/prediabetes screening; TSH: Thyroid function; and CBC with Differential: Blood and immune system\nStandard Influenza vaccinations *Subject to availability. Insurance billed for vaccines. (There will be no cost to an individual who does not have insurance coverage).\nLanguage Line\nAppointments not required\nParental/Guardian authorization is required for any individuals under the age of 18 for all services outside of the HIV Screening (13 years and up).\n\nOther Services that may be available: \n\nHIV testing (13+ years old\, results within 20 minutes)\nLinkage to care and community resources\nMedication Therapy Management\nTake Control of your birth control (TCoyBC)\n\nWhat to Expect: \n* If you have questions concerning vaccine guidance\, please call the WHMU at: 313-448-9850 \n* A qualified healthcare professional will provide all medical services \n* Please allow 15 minutes for observation post-vaccine
