DESCRIPTION:Wayne Mobile Health Unit (WMHU)\, in partnership with The Residences at St. Matthew & Epic Health Event\, is offering the following services:  \n  \nWMHU SERVICES:  \n\nBlood Pressure Screening \n\n\nGeneral Health Screenings: Complete Metabolic Panel: Kidney\, liver\, glucose\, electrolytes; Lipid Panel: Cholesterol and cardiovascular risk; Hemoglobin A1c: Diabetes/prediabetes screening; TSH: Thyroid function; and CBC with Differential: Blood and immune system \n\n\nStandard Influenza vaccinations *Subject to availability. Insurance billed for vaccines. (There will be no cost to an individual without insurance coverage). \n\n\nLanguage Line \n\n\nAppointments not required \n\n\nParental/Guardian authorization is required for any individuals under the age of 18 for all services outside of the HIV Screening (13 years and up).  \n\n   \n Other Services that may be available:  \n\nHIV testing (13+ years old\, results within 20 minutes) \n\n\nLinkage to care and community resources \n\n  \nWhat to Expect:  \n* If you have questions concerning vaccine guidance\, please call the WHMU at: 313-448-9850  \n* A qualified healthcare professional will provide all medical services  \n* Please allow 15 minutes for observation post-vaccination \n
