Fight for Full Disclosure Author at Southfield Library from the Oakland County Times

Southfield, MI – Renowned chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wayne State University School of Medicine comes to the Southfield Public Library on Wednesday, January 26 to talk about his debut novel, The Fight for Full Disclosure. Dr. Stanley Berry’s live talk starts at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room.
With decades of experience in advanced obstetrical care and research, he took a sabbatical to understand the patient side of gynecological problems. His outstanding research earned him a Hero of the Frontline by Time Magazine in 2020.
In his novel, he tells of a mother of three who undergoes a routine surgery that goes frightfully wrong. The department chair seeks full disclosure while the hospital wants to suppress the story. Several careers are at stake.
