Local doctor and Ford team up with mobile health news from Fox 2

A doctor is bringing health care to the community by deploying them into neighborhoods where the need for health care is the greatest. Dr. Phillip Levy, professor of emergency medicine at Wayne State University and chief innovation officer at Wayne Health, is partnering with the global automaker. “Instead of doing what health care does, which is just sit back and wait, our model and vision is to get out there. We have to be proactive and we have to go into communities where we know risk exists and we know that under-utilization exists. We can put those two things together, and we can change altogether.”
