Meet the provider: Ryan Castoro, D.O.

Ryan Castoro, D.O., Department of Neurology, has special interest in electromyography, inherited peripheral nerve disease, neuro-rehabilitation and neuromuscular disease.

Dr. Castoro completed his undergraduate degree at Baylor University. He received his Masters of Medical Sciences at University of North Texas and his Doctor of Osteopathy at Oklahoma State University in 2015. Dr. Castoro completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He then completed his Fellowship at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Neuromuscular Medicine with an emphasis on neuromuscular ultrasound in 2020.

His clinical interests are amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), peripheral neuropathies, Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, chemotherapy induced neuropathies, hereditary motor neuropathies (HMN) progressive muscular atrophy (PMA) and other neuromuscular disorders.
