DETROIT – In collaboration with NFL Alumni Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), former Detroit Lions tight end Pete Chryplewicz and former Lions offensive tackle Lomas Brown will host a virtual town hall Wednesday night to encourage Detroit residents to get vaccinated against COVID-19.

The event, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Aril 20, will feature leading public health experts and doctors who will address questions or concerns about vaccines.

Those scheduled to participate include Teena Chopra, MD, Professor at Wayne State University and Director of Infection Prevention and Hospital Epidemiology, Detroit Medical Center; Denise Fair Razo, Chief Public Health Officer, Detroit Department of Health; and Robert Dunne, (Acting) Medical Director, Detroit Department of Health.

Anyone can register to watch the town hall or submit questions for the panelists online by clicking here.

Those who register in advance will be entered into a raffle to win an NFL Alumni care package. The town hall will also be simulcast on the NFL Alumni Facebook and YouTube channels.
